Ingredients

Gin

basil leaves
plus extra for garnish

fresh lemon juice
½
ounce
simple syrup
ice cubes
soda water
Instructions
Gently clap the basil leaves between your hands to release their aromatic oil. Place them in a cocktail shaker and muddle gently.

Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into the shaker.
2 ounces Gin,
1 ounce fresh lemon juice,
½ ounce simple syrup
Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.

Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice cubes.
Top with a splash of soda water for some fizz.
