Instructions
Prep the Glasses:
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip into salt or sugar (or both). Set aside.
Blend the Margarita
: Add frozen watermelon, tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec, and agave syrup to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and slushy.
Serve
: Pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Choosing Watermelon:
Seedless is easiest, but if using seeded watermelon, remove all seeds before freezing.
Texture Tips:
Too thick? Add a splash of lime juice or water. Too thin? Add more frozen watermelon or ice cubes.
Flavor Adjustments:
Taste before serving—add more lime juice or agave syrup to adjust tartness or sweetness.
Mocktail Version:
Omit the tequila and Triple Sec. Add more lime juice and a splash of orange juice.
Leftover Hack:
Freeze leftovers in an ice cube tray and reblend with a splash of lime juice later for a quick slushy.
